The Pub is the University of Chicago’s private club; patrons must be affiliated with the university or be the guest of a member. 

Annual memberships are valid from Fall quarter through Summer quarter and can be purchased in cash for $10 from The Pub door attendant whenever The Pub is open. (During Orientation and 1st week of Fall quarter, memberships are just $5.)

Students, alumni, faculty, staff, and spouses are eligible for memberships. Please bring your UCID and government issued ID with you. (Alumni can identify themselves as alumni at the door.)

 Guests may purchase a day’s pass for $3 and must be accompanied by their host member at all time. Members are limited to 3 guests per day.

No one under the age of 21 is permitted in The Pub.
